The Rite I service is the most traditional of Episcopal Worship. The service follows the oldest traditions of the Book of Common Prayer which can be dated back almost 500 years. The language of the service could be described as Elizabethan. This is a quiet service without music. The Eucharist is the center focus of the service.
Holy Eucharist Rite II

St. Augustine's - Tempe
The Rite II service is the more modern of the two services. The organ and choir are a major component of this worship service. The Prayer Book language is contemporary. Eucharist is still the center of worship.
St. Brigid's Contemplative Worship
Thursday 6:30 pm
St. Augustine's - Tempe
This service is best described as ancient/future. The liturgy combines a variety of pieces from contemporary Prayer Books. The music is contemplative with guitars and piano. The atmosphere is prayerful and subdued. The sermons push on the thoughtful edge.
Wednesday Evening Eucharist
